About Us
Urban Cultural Arts & Event Center was founded by Latosha Greenleaf & Thomas Davis in 2022.
Our mission is to provide a safe and entertaining space where art is not only affordable but accessible to the families in our community & where creativity has no financial, mental or physical barriers.
Our goal is to empower our youth by teaching them how to express themselves constructively through many art forms.
We aim to serve as a hub for community engagement, creativity, learning, and social connection, providing a range of benefits to our community. Through our programs and services, we seek to promote art, economic, and environmental sustainability, while fostering a sense of community and encouraging young people to pursue their artistic passions.
Our staff, volunteers and mentors strive to create an enabling environment by using innovative techniques, ethical practices, and practical solutions to provide services to our community. Our services allow diverse members of our communities to unite and grow together through our programs. Our programs are designed to create a spark of creativity, motivation and help children and teenagers develop into meaningful adults.
